Hey! I'm V.C. Hackett — happily taken, father of two. Nothing about me is traditional — both my parents were in the circus, I have Tourette's Syndrome, and life has always been loud and colourful in every sense.
I spent the better part of a decade at Amazon helping train AI models. Stepping back and watching how fast the technology moved, I figured it was finally a good time to give an old idea a real shot.
Frequencies have fascinated me my whole life — maybe it's the musician in me, maybe the conspiracy theorist, maybe the history nerd — probably all of it. Discovering binaural beats sent me down a rabbit hole I never came back from. The way matter physically responds to vibration is one of the most fascinating things I've ever come across.
I also have Synesthesia — I visualise everything, including music. Songs don't just sound like something to me, they form as pictures I then translate back into sound. It's part of why I became a musician and a big part of why I built this. Naadara gives people without Synesthesia a window into what that experience actually feels like — and I think that's genuinely special.
I've always had a thing for dolphins too. Everything about them. I was obsessed with Ecco the Dolphin growing up and dolphin acoustic research is genuinely wild. A lot of what this tool does ties into that world.
I packed in as many features as I could. Think of it as a starting point — built with Claude AI and a lifetime of curiosity. I hope people find cool uses for it and use it to start their own dive into frequency science.
From the bottom of my heart — much love to the world, and to all of humanity.

P.S. Hopefully one day we get to explore the whole world — (yes, Antarctica too…) — and reconnect with the dolphins the way we were always meant to. It's not that we can't live alongside them — we're just not allowed to.
